Access-Able is an initiative by Inclusive Jordan dedicated to promoting physical and social accessibility across Jordan. While we support efforts and other initiatives like Accessible Jordan to improve infrastructure—such as installing ramps in public spaces—our core focus lies in building social ramps: changing mindsets and breaking down the social barriers that prevent true inclusion.

Access-Able was born out of the isolation experienced by people with physical disabilities, which became especially evident during the COVID-19 lockdown. What many face temporarily, individuals with disabilities endure daily due to a lack of accessible environments. This initiative responds to that injustice with a commitment to long-term, inclusive change.

Our upcoming flagship project is the development of a fully first of its kind accessible beach—in Aqaba —designed with care to ensure they meet the real needs of people with disabilities, creating spaces that are inclusive, welcoming, and dignified.
