Inclusive Churches
Inclusive Churches – Believing in a Church for All
“But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:20 (NKJV) (This can be put in a square of any shape to highlight, if you think fits the design)
About Inclusive Churches
Inclusive Churches is an initiative aimed at equipping and encouraging all churches in Jordan, regardless of denomination, to become truly inclusive communities — welcoming persons with all types of disabilities into the heart of worship, fellowship, and service.
At the heart of our mission under Inclusive Jordan, we believe that inclusion is not a human invention, but a divine calling — our God is an inclusive God. His love knows no barriers, and His invitation is open to all. Just as “the hand cannot say to the eye, ‘I have no need of you,’” we cannot be a complete church unless every member, regardless of ability or appearance, is embraced and valued.
“Speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable.
Speak out in order to judge with righteousness and to defend the needy and the poor.”
— Proverbs 31:8-9 (CEB) – (This can be put in a square of any shape to highlight, if you think fits the design)
This verse ignited the launch of the Inclusive Churches initiative — a vital part of our national effort, Inclusive Jordan. We believe that the Gospel is a universal message that must be accessible to all, regardless of physical, sensory, or intellectual barriers.
We began our journey with a roundtable on Christian theology and disability, uniting church leaders around a shared vision of inclusion.
We are launching an annual conference to promote inclusion and celebrate churches that lead in accessibility and belonging.
Each participating church will appoint a representative to receive training in sign language, with our support to earn certification from the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD).
We are assisting churches in adapting their physical environments to be accessible to people with mobility impairments.
We are providing the Bible in accessible formats, including Braille, audio, and sign language.
Sunday School teachers will receive training on disability inclusion and adaptive teaching methods.
Additionally, We are launching a sign language worship team called “Voice of Sign”, dedicated to expressing worship through sign language and enriching the spiritual experience for Deaf and hearing individuals alike.
We are supporting the translation of spiritual songs into sign language, enabling all members to worship fully.
This is not just a project — it is a response to God’s call. Christ formed one body made of many parts, and His Church is not whole until everyone has a place.
We invite every church in Jordan to become part of this one body — a body where no one is invisible, no one is excluded, and everyone belongs.
