Blinds with vision
Blind with Vision is a specialized department within Inclusive Jordan, dedicated to advancing the educational and social inclusion of individuals with visual impairments in Jordan. Our mission is to support their integration into schools and public life by introducing accessible formats—such as Braille and QR codes—across key sectors including education, healthcare, and hospitality.
Our first initiative focuses on introducing and providing training on the Nemeth Code in Jordan, a Braille system for reading and writing math and science. This addresses a major gap in STEM education for students with visual impairments.
Our work is grounded in Article 17 of Jordan’s Disability Rights Law No. 20 (2017), which ensures equal access to education and prohibits discrimination based on disability. We aim to uphold these rights by creating inclusive learning environments that empower all students to reach their full potential.
